Project Marine
Project Marine was inspired by our clients’ love for their historical Chicago, IL neighborhood, record-keeping, and the stunning views of Lake Michigan from their window. This unique project brings out the best of their welcoming neighborhood Buena Park, 19th century townhomes, 1920s secret bars, kids’ Halloween parties, and many more lovely details. The raised-edge detail on the shelving was inspired by Chicago’s impressive architecture. We paid homage to our clients’ love of reading and classical libraries and museums around the world, many found in Chicago. Our project shares close proximity to the natural grandeur of Lake Michigan. Marine is a harmonious yet imposing project that blends Chicago's historic architecture with the striking presence of its lighthouses, all rooted in a strong nautical theme.

Kitchen: Elevate storage, declutter, & improve space for comfortable food preparation and hosting with a Custom Kitchen Island, providing a darker contrast to existing white kitchen.
Lounge: Create a lounge area to house a personal collection of books, records and artwork that their children and grandchildren will love to gather in. Build office space.

Project Marine has improved our clients’ beautiful home while paying homage to Chicago’s history. A Custom Kitchen Island for hosting and meal-prepping; a cozy lounge with built-in furniture to store and display their favorite books, records, artwork, & family photos; upgraded living room cupboards; and fully integrated natural sunlight utilization. Project Marine has enhanced the coziness of the clients’ home, improving meal-prepping, hosting, and relaxation spaces, as well as adding a built-in office space for working or studying, built around a beautiful family heirloom campaign desk.
