Obra is a custom carpentry studio & interior design collective based in Mexico City, Mexico, and Austin, Texas. Our passion is applying design to your rituals: custom kitchen islands that translate your personality into functional works of art, residential and commercial remodeling projects that embrace the best of your space, and much more for you to explore.
Obra combines traditional craftsmanship and modern technology with the expertise of our skilled carpenters, designers, architects, and communicators. To elevate this collective talent and get expert feedback for our custom carpentry pieces, Obra collaborates with unique personalities, such as: ultimate home-chef, photographer & internet celebrity Tim Laielli; Michelin Bib Gourmand recommended & owner of KG BBQ Chef Kareem El-Ghayesh; and co-owner of Michelin-starred LeRoy and Lewis Chef Evan LeRoy.
