Rodolfo

Alvaro Obregón, Mexico City

Saúl

Tlalpan, Mexico City

Saúl is a varnisher assistant who has been perfecting his craft for two years. He finds inspiration in the assurance that the final product will be exceptional and cherishes the moments when he can see the completed project in person or through photos. One of the biggest challenges he faces is matching colors accurately, a meticulous process he handles by carefully tracking each color mix and proportion.

His journey into varnishing began with his uncle who recognized Saúl's interest and taught him the trade. Since childhood, Saúl has been fascinated by fixing and creating things, which has fueled his ambition to study mechanical engineering in college. He believes he can excel in this field and is determined to pursue it in the future.

Jonathan

Tlalpan, Mexico City

Jonathan has been dedicated to his craft for 10 years. Inspired by a family tradition spanning three generations, he carries forward the knowledge and skills passed down from his grandfather and father. Jonathan faces challenges when experimenting with new finishes and brands of varnish, which he tackles through trial and error until he achieves the desired results. His dream project is to complete the purchase of a piece of land and build a house for his family.

Jonathan's journey into varnishing began by observing his family's work. Although initially a casual interest, he committed fully to the trade when he became responsible for his firstborn. Over the past decade, Jonathan has developed his own unique approach and expertise, building on the foundation laid by his predecessors.
